Summary
The Paint Team Leader leads the floor team members to produce non-defective quality parts and supplies the parts to the Assembly Department.
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
• Confirm bumper scheduling data in the MES
• Complete daily inventory and record data in the computer
• Operate forklift when needed
• Verify the raw part inventory and repaints to ensure shortages do not occur at the loading area
• Ability to perform each job on the line in order to cover for absences
• Perform train changes
• Complete overtime equalization reports
• Separate parts according to color issues
• Report any quality defects related to processing to robot operators
• Monitor all paint tests and communicate it to loaders, unloaders, and robot operators
• Maintain good attachments on the line
• Change out Jig paint with paint build up as necessary
• Attend all mandatory and related training classes
• Comply with all safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazards
• All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Preferred Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent, plus 2 or more years of experience in automotive manufacturing
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Able to stand for 8 to 12 hours; lift 20-30 lbs., and push carts
Must obtain Mobis forklift license within 90 days of beginning role
Leadership Skills required
Computer Skills (Word, Excel) required
Good verbal and written Communication Skills

Forklift license required or must be obtained within 90 days of beginning role

90% production floor; 10% office
